O MENINAS HARDCORE começou em 2001 como um zine feminista com a intencao de abordar política e musica, no caso bandas com vocal feminino como uma forma de incentivar participações e produções femininas dentro de uma cena branca - masculina - heterossexual, que infelizmente não é igualitária, seja por falta de apoio, divulgação ou respeito as diferenças.
Hoje em dia somos um coletivo vegetarianofeminista que organiza o Meninas Hardcore Fest e é uma distro/gravadora independente faca você mesmo e também um site para divulgar nossas ações.
Atualmente a distro é dedica para bandas politizadas independente do gênero musical, que esta se expandindo para outras cidades, já que parte do grupo se mudou para outra cidade e novas parceiras estão se formando.
Lançamos duas coletâneas, o Meninas Hardcore Vol 1 e Vol 2, e a demo da finada banda Convictus e a versao brasileira da DEMO da Choke Cocoi . Nossas próximas compilações serão em vinil "7" e com a participação de bandas de outros paises.
The Meninas Hardcore (hardcoregirls ) started in 2001 as one feminist zine with the intention to approach politics and music, in the case bands with female fronted or all female bands as a form to incentive female participation and productions into of the white scene - masculine - heterossexual, that unhappyly it is not equal between men and women, without to support, without spreading or without respect for the differences.
Nowadays we are a collective vegetarianfeminist that organizes the Meninas Hardcore Fest ( Hardcore Girls Fest) and is one distro/D.I.Y recorder knife you yourselves and also it is a site to divulge our actions.
Currently the distro is dedicates for politicized bands independent of the musical style, that this if expanding for other cities, since it has left of the group if it moved for another city and new partnerships are if forming.
We launch two compilations, the Meninas Hardcore Vol 1 (2002) and Vol 2 (2004), and the demo of the R.I.P brazilian band Convictus (2003) and the brazilian version of the DEMO of the band Choke Cocoi (2006) from Philippines. Our next "compilations will be in vinyl "7" and with the participation of bands of others countries.
