The United States of America is in a state of emergency. The catastrophic war in Iraq continues its bloody course despite the fact that the people urgently want the war to end. In other important issues, as well, the people are disillusioned, disenfranchised, and in despair. Yet our elected representatives are unresponsive to the concerns and needs of our citizens and to international conventions. As elders, we have the sacred responsibility to ensure a safe, free future for our children and grandchildren.
Join us in November 11th everywhere for a long overdue demand to no more wars. We must seize this opportunity to demonstrate the democratic process at work.
