I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

There's a whole lot of nothing to say!

I am a Minnesota native gone heat wave in Florida. I am married and have 3 great boys, Joshua (25), AJ (19), and Random (17). Oh yeah...let's not forget my 2 grandchildren, Chase (5) and Catherine (3)!

I am one of the head honchos of Koboca Publishing , a brand new (January 2006) publishing company. I am also a writer and author with 4 books under my belt (under my various pseudonyms attached to my split personalities), and over half a dozen internationally published books that I did as a ghostwriter and can't claim official (and in some cases even non-official) credit for...but cashed the checks to make up for it!

My Interests

A little of this and a whole lot of that...

I guess there are a lot of things that interest me on peripheral levels and a few (like writing and reading) that do it for me on a more intense level.

I'd like to meet:

Nikola Tesla...although I guess I'm a few years too late.

Music:

Now there is a question that has one answer: Eclectic Taste. I am a mood listener, as in, I listen to whatever strikes me for the current state of mind/mood that I am in. Unfortunately, as much as I love music, I can't concentrate to write with music in the background, and as I am a writer by heart, soul, and profession...well, you figure it out.

Movies:

Action/Adventure. If it has magic/sci-fi or fantasy in it - even better. I am not much of a chick flick watcher, although I have been known to watch a tissue clencher from time to time. Do any stick out? Not really. I just watch for enjoyment until I'm onto the next great thing to do!

Television:

Okay...now I can name one or two or three...Stargate SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica...used to love watching Andromeda, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel...hmmm...I am definitely sensing a theme here. Oh...and let's not forget one of my favorites of all time...Red Dwarf.

Books:

Reggie & Ryssa and the Summer Camp of Faery by Bo Savino ... Broken Wings: Genesis by A.J. Rand ... Keeper of the Flame by Catherine Chase ...oh wait...ones I didn't write? Well then...I loved Harry Potter as much as everyone else. Pretty much anything by Laurell K. Hamilton grabs my attention...okay, wait...I have a lot of faves, so I could ramble on forever...but gonna stop before I even really get started.

Heroes:

Yanno...it's interesting. I have several heroes, and they are all related to me. My siblings and my mom. Why? Because we went through a lot of adversity together when growing up and have all gone on to do some really amazing things, and become some very caring and amazing people.

My Blog

Life is gearing up to get even more busy. And here I thought I already had as much as I could handle on my plate! So much for trying to think.   Little by little, one piece at a time, everything ...

What am I?

Strange topic for a blog, huh? But I have had some interesting observations brought home to me recently. First of all, what am I? I am a small publisher. Independent Press, I guess, would be the polit...

Confusing Dreams and Reality

So on with the publishing saga. First, let me back it up a bit. The reason why I felt so confident with handling the dream I put forth to become a publisher was several fold.   The first part of ...

Oh Sweet Dream...Thy Name Is Insanity

Although "Ready To Ramble" will probably be appropriate on a regular basis, due to the recent activity going on in my life, "Adventures In Insanity" seemed oh, so much more fitting. For today, I am go...
