"Hi to everyone. Since arriving in Serbia on Friday I have been doing Rehearsals, press conferences and other interviews with countries far and wide. The response for 'Even If..' has been fantastic from our European friends. So let's hope we get the votes on Saturday. As I've said all along I believe the song is good enough to win the competition if not top ten, but one thing's for sure I'll be performing my butt off for you guys. Got to go now they're calling me down..."

And so onto the update of what's been going on with Andy Abraham… "so far it's been pretty mad since EUROVISION - your decision - i've had so many interviews with press radio & tv and calls are coming in from all over europe about promoting the EVEN IF single & EVEN IF album and because my own label B-Line Records is behind the release of the single/album it feels like there's not enough time in the day, BUT I LOVE IT, there's no better satisfaction than to release an original album from my own label and watch it develop and grow.

Andy has been back in the studio today working on further tracks for the album. We intend to release exclusive information to the myspace faithful by the end of the week about the single and the album....Also today, Andy has been talking to long time fans the Daily Mail about the new album and his plans for Euro 2008. HOT NEWS...Andy will appear singing live on THIS MORNING next Wednesday 12th March.

AAHQ CELEBRATES EUROVISION: YOUR DECISION VICTORY. ANDY ABRAHAM to fly the UK flag in the 53rd contest, to take place in Belgrade, Serbia, on Saturday, May 24.
A note from Andy..."I’m freaked out! What can I say – the public and my loyal fans have voted me in and I’m over the moon. They believe like I did that ‘Even If’ is a song for the masses. The UK audience have once again been behind me. I’m seriously hoping and I will try my best to make them proud out in Serbia because it is about the song. I really hope people in Europe give the song a chance.”

In an exclusive interview for his very own myspace Andy was keen to point out about the finals in Serbia that:
"...the voters should vote for a song if they liked it, and not think in a political way...I think the other countries need to think of the Eurovision as what it really is. It's a song contest. If they love the song they should vote for it....i'm a singer and I write songs..."

'EVEN IF' WAS TERRY'S WILD CARD AND THE PEOPLE'S VOTE ON EUROVISION: YOUR DECISION. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WINNING THE CHANCE TO REPRESENT THE UK IN EUROPE??
To come through on Saturday after losing out in the head to head with Michelle and for Mr Wogan to save my bacon, plus the fact that the two judges picked Michelle's song over mine and for the public to pick me says everything about the British public and i am so grateful to them for that.
'EVEN IF' WAS QUOTED BY CARRIE GRANT AS BEING "...TOO GOOD FOR EUROVISION." THIS IS A GREAT SONG, AND FROM WHAT WE HAVE HEARD IS THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG AS FAR AS THE NEW ALBUM IS CONCERNED. CAN YOU TELL US SOME MORE ABOUT THE INDIVIDUAL TRACKS??
It was a compliment from Carrie Grant to say that my song was to good for the Eurovision but maybe that's the point, cause for me when you enter and submit an original song you want that kind of reaction from the crowd and judges, and i think if we concentrated on great songs then the quality of the show and acts would be much higher.
I truly believe that songs such as 'Give you my love', an uptempo soul sample track, can have the same impact as 'Even if'.
Another song i've written is 'Lovely Amor' and surprisingly it's a reggae track but it has an anthemic quality so i'm hoping that a clubs' supporters will pick it up for their own anthem (preferably Arsenal because they need one).
'I Will' is another track i co-wrote and it's a mid-tempo live sounding song about being there for your ex girlfriend.
'Only Way To Grow' is a song that tells us war and hatred don't work if we're going to get along, only love, and we should never be afraid to go for what we believe in.
YOUR SONY/BMG ALBUMS WERE LARGELY COVERS ALBUMS. YOU HAVE DECIDED TO RELEASE THIS ALBUM INDEPENDENTLY, BUT WITH MAJOR PRODUCERS CONTRIBUTING, AND MAJOR MUSIC INDUSTRY COMPANIES SUPPORTING YOU. IS THE FREEDOM YOU ARE NOW EXPERIENCING GOING TO BE REFLECTED IN THE TRACKS WE HEAR ON THE ALBUM??
Yes you can say that, it is so essential for me to be more in control musically and lyrically, and because I've had so many influences in my life and voices I've love through the years that i need to show in this album another side of me that the public and fans haven't seen yet.
WE HEAR THAT YOU MAY BE BREAKING WITH EUROVISION TRADITION AND TOURING EUROPE TO PROMOTE 'EVEN IF' AND THE UK EUROVISION ENTRY VIA TV AND RADIO INTERVIEWS. WITH AND AUDIENCE OF 100 MILLION VIEWERS (10 million in the UK) IS IT IMPORTANT TO YOU TO COMMUNICATE THE ANDY ABRAHAM MUSICAL MESSAGE OUTSIDE OF THE UK??
Yes I'll be promoting 'Even if' in different countries in Europe because i feel to make an impact those countries need to see me live, and to visit beautiful places is a joy in itself. I believe it's important that my music is heard by as many people as possible no matter the language.
