Stray Cinema is an open source film. On our website you are able to download and re-edit raw footage from a film shot in New Zealand. This will provide people from all over the world with an opportunity to create their own version of the film. To tell their own story with our footage. we challenge you to make a more interesting cut of the film than we do.

we are starting to look for new footage to use for stray cinema 2009. if we choose to use your footage, we will organize a screening of your film in your country, along with our top five finalists...please contact us if you plan to shoot a short film over the next 4-5 months, and would like to make the raw footage available for the stray cinema community to remix. www.straycinema.com/shoot-footage
