Zacky Vengeance is the rhythm guitarist for Orange County, California rock band Avenged Sevenfold. Vengeance shares guitar duties in the band with Synyster Gates.
Vengeance was born to German/Italian parents on December 11, 1981. He was raised in Huntington Beach, California. Vengeance got his first guitar at age 13, a Squier Strat. He gained influence from listening to his heroes at the time, Dimebag Darrell of Pantera and Slash of Guns N'Roses.
