I'd like to meet:
Thank you for coming and checking out Proud City of Evil Fans.
I know what many of you are thinking... something along the lines of "Why the fuck does A7X need another fansite? They allready have 1978539087.865 pointless fansites!" Well guess what. This is a fansite with a purpose. Read on to see what we are about.
This is a place for ALL Avenged Sevenfold fans to come, new and old. Something extremely disturbing has been happening to the family of the fallen ever since the release of 'City of Evil' and the music video for 'Bat Country'. Many of the old fans who "claim" to have been a fan since the days of Sounding The Seventh Trumpet have been shutting out the new fans and have been just flat out rude.
Here at PCOEF, we believe that just because you found out about Avenged Sevenfold's music through City of Evil or Bat Country does not mean you are a "teenie bopper" or that you are a "poser". We are tired of seeing new fans being bullied in message boards and on other spaces by arrogant fools, so this space has been created as a friendly enviorment for all fans of A7X. It does not mater to us if you have been a fan since the release of STST or if you have been a fan since you purchased City Of Evil. What maters to us is that you are a fan of the amazing band known as Avenged Sevenfold.
With that said we are aware that there are new "fans" out there who really are not fans at all. To be a member of this fan space you need to be a fan of the music and not of the guys bodies. Understood? If you are a new fan because you heard their music and were blown away we will be happy to welcome you. If you are a new fan because you saw them on MTV and think they are hot please leave now.
Also, there are many old "fans" who now say A7X sold out and flat out hate City Of Evil due to the change in music and publicity. Well we would like to say you have the right to you're opinions but you will not be welcomed here. We want members who love the music found on COE. Not members who despise it.
If you are a new fan who has a question about the band but have been afraid to ask anyone else, feel free to ask us, and we will try to help you out the best that we can.
This is a place where members can proudly be fans of the album City of Evil and proudly admit to being new fans with out the fear of being harassed or bullied.
