Lefteris was born in New York and grew up in Athens, Greece. He started playing guitar at the age of sixteen and after a year he was performing in a rock band as a lead guitarist at different music bars of Athens.After graduating Athens College he went to America, initially to study Business Administration, but his love for music led him to Berklee College of Music in Boston. He graduated from B.C.M after four years as an honor student with a scholarship and received a degree in Guitar Performance.While attending B.C.M he formed his own band called The L.C Band playing his original jazz-fusion compositions in different clubs of Boston.He returned to Greece in the summer of 2003. His first professional appearance as a guitarist in Greece was the summer of 2000 with Anna Vissi at a club called Asteria. Since then he has performed in concerts and clubs in Athens and abroad with Anna Vissi, Christos Dantis, Giorgios Demetriadis and Elizabith Karatzoli.In Anna Vissi’s album called “Paraxenes Eikones†he produced and orchestrated a big part of the CD. The CD also included two original tunes of his (music & lyrics) called “Velos†& “Pos ta Fernei Etsi i Zoiâ€He released his first CD-single with SONY-BMG, May 2005, which included three tunes of his. Apart from writing the music and co-writing the lyrics with Mary Kavatha he also produced and arranged the tunes on the CD. This winter he performed in a club in Athens. His first full length CD "OSO O HLIOS THA ZEI" just came out with Impact Music which includes 11 tunes of his.
