SERM steht nicht nur für die Anfangsbuchstabenkombination von vier postpubertären und selbstironischen Jungs aus der beschaulich-dörflichen Gegend in und um Großkochberg, sondern auch für eine Mixtur aus Hard-, Metalcore, Punk-, Alternative-, Instrumental - was immer du willst.
Zusammengeschweißt vom Willen der Band, das Bestmögliche zu erreichen.
„Jeder von uns hat sich darauf konzentriert, so viel zu bringen, wie er auf seinem Gebiet kann und gemeinsam haben wir alles zu einem Ganzen zusammengebracht, musikalisch wie auch freundschaftlich.“
Doch SERM ist nicht nur beseelt vom Willen zum Experiment und zur Innovation, es besitzt ebenso unentrinnbare Parts, die keinen Zweifel daran aufkommen lassen, dass eines schon immer zu den Grundfesten von SERM gehörte: emotionsgeladene sowie kompromisslose Songs, die aus spontanen Launen und persönlichen Vorstellungen entstehen und sich nicht an musikalischen Richtlinien einer Szene orientieren.
So funktioniert SERM wie ein unvergesslicher Soundtrack zu einem schlechten Traum, der durch eine Wand von markerschütternden Feedbacks dringt und aus dessen Meer von Sounds sich ätherische Vocals und Gitarrenlinien erheben.
"Wir sind keine Propheten oder Weltverbesserer. Wir wollen nur, dass die Kids jemanden haben, zudem sie aufschauen können. Wir sehen uns als sozialgesellschaftspädogogische Respektspersonen und Vorbilder. Deswegen machen wir Musik, die die Jugend zum rücksichtslosen streben nach Geld und Macht bewegt und sie zu guten Kapitalisten werden lässt."

SERM stands not only for the initial letter combination of four post adolescent and self-ironic boys from the contemplative-village area in and around Großkochberg, is also stands for a mixture of hard-, metalcore, punk, alternative, Instrumental – whatever you want.
Welded together by the will to reach the best as possible. „Everybody from us has concentrated to bring so much as he is able to do with his skills and so we became a unity, musically as well as friendly. “
Nevertheless, SERM is inspired not only by the will to the experiment and to the innovation, it owns as inescapable part which allow to arise no doubt about the fact that always something always belonged to the basic parties of SERM: the emotion-loaded as well as uncompromising songs which originate from spontaneous mood and personal images and do not orientate themselves by musical guidelines of a scene.
So SERM sounds like an unforgettable soundtrack to a bad dream which is penetrated by a wall of bloodcurdling feedback and from his sea of sounds you hear rising ethereal Vocals and guitar lines.
"We are no prophets or starry-eyed idealists. We want only that the kids have somebody, besides, they can look up. We see ourselves as society-educationally people in authority and models. So we play music which kids make wanting more and more money and become good capitalists.â€
