Some Things Do Go Bump In The Night

About Me

I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!"Horus8, is a poet residing in Hollywood, Ca. An avante garde artist influenced primarily by Jim Morrison, Jeff Buckley, and Morphine, but I hear more of Lou Reed and an electricified Leonard Cohen with a falseto. He began as a spoken word artist, but realized quickly music was what he was missing from his poems and literary pop references he draws upon to improv with like Henry Rollins, or King Missile. That said, you will find that not only does Horus8 discover his own voice and style, but he's loyal to his form, full of razor sharp wit, and epitomizes the underground movement currently in America to not be a video game toting paris hilton coo-ing asshat, but rather a well read, role-playing shaman high on psychedelics and good literature. A Jack Keruoac dead ringer his on the road ranting is fresh, and instantly made me question how I viewed everything around me. His stories are universally appealing and myth oriented in shamanism and plain bullshit. It's unquestionably apparent that being a front man crooner, whether on piano, guitar, or just standing there and riffing is Horus8's calling. If there is not a Dr. Jeckyl, and Mr. Hyde in the music scene... There is one now.By David Weisman.BLUE COLLAR BEAT"There is someshitI will noteat"-- e.e.cummings."A latchkey kid raised on pop-tarts and gameshows, JEREMI BRITT HANDRINOS (horus8) has created Blue Collar Beat -- where Slam-poetry meets Techno-pop-rock in a ballsy new sound and attitude for Y2K. A life-artist, and action poet in the tradition of Jack Kerouac, Jim Morrison, and Arthur Rimbaud. The work of Jeremi Handrinos is spawned by the non-stop chaotic roller coaster that's been his life since he was born in San Dimas, California. "For the last 25 years it's been Indiana-Jones- and-The-Temple-Of-Fucking-Doom, twenty-four seven! I have never had a vacation; I have never been relaxed. For me, the only way out has always been my imagination". By Leonard SchraderPlease vote for us, and win an asswagon in your choice of scion marmalade
