About Me

Name: George Mink III August 27 1980 11:00 PM Time Zone is EDT Philadelphia, PA 'Rising Sign is in 25 Degrees Taurus Calm and deliberate, you hate to move quickly or act hastily. Very practical, every effort must count or you can't be bothered. Patient, persistent and steady, but very stubborn -- you can't be pushed or pressured into anything. You seem outwardly self-assured because you tend to repress your inner tension and turmoil. You exude an earthy warmth, friendliness and charm. You demand comfortable surroundings and appreciate the good life. Be careful of a tendency to be overly self-indulgent. At times, you are lazy and difficult to motivate. Overcoming inertia is a problem for you and, because you are not by nature a self-starter, it is often necessary for you to receive stimuli from others in order to get moving.Sun is in 04 Degrees Virgo. Extremely careful and cautious by nature, you value neatness and order above all else. You rigorously practice very high standards of living and conduct and you demand the same of everyone with whom you come into contact. At times, you are so supercritical that you are merely nit-picky. You are very good at practical skills and quite handy with tools of all kinds. You are also greatly concerned with hygiene, cleanliness and personal health problems. Very likely your health is much better than you think it is -- don't worry so much! Extremely methodical and analytical, you are a perfectionist -- this makes you the perfect person to carry out highly detailed, precise operations. But, at times, you pay so much attention to details that you lose sight of the larger issues.Moon is in 02 Degrees Aries. High-spirited and courageous, you are a fighter when your emotions are aroused. The degree of force and drive that you can bring to any effort sometimes surprises others. You have hair-trigger reactions to specific stimuli and tend to "let it all hang out." You sometimes act before you think and do things on the spur of the moment, and that sometimes gets you into trouble. Your moods change quickly -- you have quite a temper, but you don't hold grudges. Very independent, with an extremely strong and forceful personality, you are known for being impulsive, careless, reckless, foolhardy, rash and daring.Mercury is in 06 Degrees Virgo. Very thorough and efficient, you pay attention to the minor but important details of any project. You are a careful thinker who can learn complicated, intricate techniques. You are attracted to practical, useful skills and are probably good at working with your hands. You are very critical of yourself and others, sometimes too much so, and you get the reputation of being a nag or of being nit-picky. Your first reaction to any situation is to try to organize, classify and analyze everything!Venus is in 19 Degrees Cancer. You like to be very close to other people. You need emotional support yourself and are willing to give it to others. When you feel unloved and insecure, you can be very jealous and possessive. You are not interested in casual or superficial relationships -- only deep emotional involvements interest you. Your faithful devotion is one of your greatest gifts, but be careful not to become too dependent on others. Learn to stand on your own two feet and demand your own rights once in a while.Aside from those ast Mars is in 29 Degrees Libra. You are very aware of the need to cooperate with others in order to further any effort. You are usually willing to compromise with others, although you can be quite competitive in a friendly way. Very fair- minded and impartial, you have the ability to sense injustice and the desire to take corrective actions to make proper compensations. You see both sides of issues and questions, but you tend to be undecided or wavering when forced to make choices that might make you vulnerable or unpopular.Jupiter is in 17 Degrees Virgo. You feel most expansive and at ease with yourself when you are doing something that you consider to be practical or useful. You enjoy being dutiful and carrying out responsibilities. You gladly take on the little tasks that others seem to want to avoid. At times, you carry things to extremes and feel guilty anytime you do something that you consider to be self-indulgent. While it is appropriate for you to demand little for yourself in life, try to loosen up once in a while -- go out on a fling and enjoy yourself!Saturn is in 27 Degrees Virgo. Your life must be orderly and practical and full of known and familiar routines in order for you to feel comfortable with yourself. Be careful, however, not to let "order" become the be-all and end-all of your life, or you may become cold, crass and unfeeling. Doing useful, practical things boosts your self- esteem. Abstract concepts and reasoning seem frivolous and a waste of time to you. You are very critical of yourself (and others), indeed at times quite self-deprecating. Try to relax a bit and allow yourself the freedom to fail once in a while. However, you probably won't fail very often because you are such a perfectionist.Uranus is in 21 Degrees Scorpio. You, and your peer group, demand to confront life at its deepest and most meaningful levels. Very compulsive and obsessive in your approach to everything, you will avoid anything that is casual or superficial, especially when it comes to relationships. You will seek out and explore new methods of healing as well as different ways to deal with deep-seated emotional problems.Neptune is in 19 Degrees Sagittarius. You, and your entire generation, are heavily involved in investigating and idealizing foreign and exotic intellectual systems and religious philosophies. The most extreme ideals will be pursued with gusto. You will be at the forefront of humanitarian attempts to improve the lot of those who are in need of assistance. You will be comfortable with the concept of the "global village."Pluto is in 19 Degrees Libra. For your entire generation, this is a time of radical changes in society's attitude toward marriage and interpersonal relationships. There is a general fear and awe at the power inherent in making emotional or contractual commitments -- they will not be entered into lightly.N. Node is in 20 Degrees Leo. You prefer to take the leadership role when it comes to dealing with others. You enjoy administering and organizing group activities. Others tend to listen to your suggestions because you aren't usually overly domineering or patronizing in your interactions. You love to entertain in a big way -- you're at your best when throwing a large and lavish party. Your popularity and social success are assured as long as you don't take others for granted -- resist the temptation to become snobbish and arrogant.Well aside from my obvious fascination with the Zodiac, I am also fascinatied in correlating the Zodiacs of every culture I can research. I'm an all around geek. I love comicbooks, I love cartoons. Big fan of Fiction of anykind, and artwork of anykind, but most particularly the story-telling types. I'm a huge sucker for Time-Travel stories, which stems from my fascination with the concept of time, which I play with fervently. I just like clocks, and clandars of all kinds, ancient and modern. I also enjoy the company of a vibrant female, wether it's at a bar, a coffee shop, or just hanging about in the park. Love Archeology, too...so many secrets of the universe left to be uncovered...I won't rest until I know all I can possibly know about everything there is to know about. I'm also fond of harmoniously mingling things that are assumed to be mutually exclusive concepts, such as sciences and religions. They all call me crazy, but guess what? Everyone's crazy...some of us are just very very good at it... width="425" height="350" ..

My Interests

Music:

Music is easily used for evil. HEAR ME OUT!!!!! Look, we all know that music is great, makes us all feel good inside, right? But Let us look deeper into this. Why does it make you feel good? How can sounds force your brain to send "good feelings" and energy throughout your body? I'm not entirely sure YET, but I've got some good Ideas in that regard. Until I find something concrete to show, I shall leave you with this: Music is a well known Mood Elevator, or depressor. I'm sure those behind the music scene know this. To that end, I'm sure nothing they have planned for the use of music is good. If those behind the record labels are aware of the mind altering properties of music(that's a very small "If", by the way, they DO know), they surely wouldn't use it to improve you. No. Look at a rave: You've got loud, electronic music, which effects the brain and body. Your addrenaline pumps, seratoin kicks in, and before you know it, you're intoxicating yourself, then having sex. This is Identical to an old fashioned Witches Sabbath. Your powers of Logic and Reason are sweaped aside, as your emotional mind takes over, thus leaving you more susceptible to mind control, via ElectroMagneticHarmonics.Honestly, I'm partial to classic rock, and a good deal of newer indy stuff. YOu'll see them on my friends lists. IN trouth, I can listen to nearly anything, if it get's my blood pumping, but I find the fact that an outside influence can alter my emotions unnerving.

Movies:

I don't Have favorite movies anymore. I go on "Kicks" wherein my "favorite" movie will change from month to month, from time to time, so it's not really fair to ask my favorite movie. Some of the one's up there? Clockwork Orange, The Origional Transformers movie, Falling Down, I don't know, whatever I happen to think of when you ask me that question. Oh! Boondock Saints!

Television:

Hell E-mail me I'll send links.IT is a great Irony,no? In a world virtually devoid of morality, where our churches and institutions have betrayed our trust (And we too them, I'm sure) that to get a taste of morality and chivilry one must resort to what the moral majority refers to as detrimental childs material.

Heroes:

Those of the fictional variety are more a pro pro here. Besides the obvious, one of the many is Captain Marvel. Or any of the four people who've worn the title (five if you count Shazaam, but he's from a different company. Aside from the Father, "Captain Mar-Vell", I am very fond of his mentally unstable son "Genis-Vell", who grew up without his daddy, has he had died of cancer before the birth of his son. Marvel Comics has recently (snicker) "killed" Genis, by dispersing his "essence" across several pocket dimentions. I hope he doesn't stay "dead", and I doubt he will has his dead father "Mar-Vell" was recently resurrected by plucking him from his own past prior to his death via a time machine in an anti-matter dimention. Yeah that's sounds convoluted, and pretty stupid, and it is, but I suppose such things will invariably happen in stories that constantly deal with the metaphysical aspects of reality. SOmetimes they're profound stories, others, they're messy hogwash. In the meantime, here's my Genis-vell. In time I'll have Mar-vell, Phyla-Vell, and Monica Rameau. All of whom have worn the mantle of Captain Marvel... width="425" height="350" ..
