lately the books i read are any kind of manuals that will teach me whatever it is i'm trying to learn...do it yourself kind of books. photoshop tutorials, html and css books, books and mags for inspiration for my paintings like photography books, travel books and fashion illustration books. Anything by Tom Robbins, A Million Little Pieces, Running With Scissors, Memoirs of a Geisha, and Edie.
