Influences: found sounds, instruments, films, soundtracks, rhythms, colours, materials, microphones, effects, effects pedal, broken machines, speech, water, apples, rubbish, green tea, the stars of the lid, free-non-improv, crap tv, the dead texan, the ideas in my head, other people's music, sounds I really cannot stand that inspire me to never hear them again, really fucking good art, friendly people, the non-categorisation of music, the amusing attempts that nme try in order to stereotype music into "genres" which end up sounding like kinds of diseases, tape, jack hunter and his merry band, ethnic instruments, home made instruments, things that are not actually instruments, the idea against music being just instrumentation, radio, hiss, making a mess, pianos, ondes martenot, good comedy, conceptual visual art that really fits with good music (see the dead texan), steve reich, human emotions often brought on by a really good day, autism, recording anything and everything, phasing, having a short attention span, tim exile, summer but autumn and winter keep me inside more, being warm, nice food, trees, sepia, dams, victorian architecture, brian eno, friends, record shops, long train journeys, steam trains, singing and driving (can be dangerous), circuit bending, my many other projects, memories from holidays, looking in a draw and looking through all the old photographs, sometimes not even remembering where you were or who that is, william basinski, walks, staying away from rain, thunderstorms, newspapers, non-digital signals, real ale, red wine (also partial to a nice crisp white every now and then), morocco, skye, john barry, avoiding the telephone, dr. boris worm

(as much as I can remember, after all it is pretty much infinite)

It all sounds so pretentious.
