Angel (3men2)

Music is the best and only way for this musician to express his feelings, thoughts and emotions. He reflects a very interesting character to the exterior people by being outgoing and pure, his name is Angel Ariel Batista. Angel was born on February 14th, of the year 1990, in a small town of Santo Domingo called Villa Duarte. There, he lived with his mom and grandmother between the struggles of not having food for the next day and so on. Suddenly, the idea of immigrating to Spain appeared in his mother’s thoughts. She decided to immigrate with Angel and look for a better life other than eating a piece of bread every morning and saving the other for the night. They began a new life in Spain with a different culture, style of living and totally different people. In fact, they had to face racism everywhere they went including jobs, school, and etc. Angel’s mom had to do many different things to keep her son in the right path. She had to wash dishes, clean houses, nursing, and many different things that people couldn’t imagine of. After eight years of hard work in Spain, Angel had already turned 10 and his mom was in the position of having her own apartment and maintaining herself without any help. In the Early 2000, Angel and his mom left Spain to start another life in the United States. Being here, Angel went through his years of adolescence and matured with every hit that life use to give him. He had to learn the language and adapt to this new country on the outer part of his eyes. Little by little, while living in West New York, New Jersey, he grew up discovering his talent of writing music. Year 2005 had just begun when he first wrote a verse for a song in his friend’s house. Enthusiastic by the genre of Hip Hop and Reggaeton, him and his friends decided to form a group called 3men2 (tremendous). His mom opened a business store (botanica), where she produced enough money to live well. Now, 2007 is approaching and God has proportioned Angel with the talent of going through problems, fronting them and staying focus in life at his 16 years old which is extremely difficult in today’s society. At his age, he has gone through disillusions, pain, emotion problems but also happiness. Losing the people he really loves, he still believes god exists and he also believes that there is no other way to go but forward breaking every single obstacle in his way.
