About Me

Cryptic is a band consisting of four bonefrozen norwegians, with guitarists Magnus Grimnes and JÃ¸rgen SÃ¦ter as the very origin of the band, bassist Christian Svendsen and eventually drummer Axel Skalstad!The band started off doing classical metal and hard rock covers, but after a short period of time the band was producing music of their own: experimental and technically harsh metal/rock. Influenced by a vaste range of artists and genres their music stretches from silly jazz to dirty, fat and punchy riffs. The name "cryptic" reflects the variety in harmonies, melodies and rythms; only indicating that you'll never know what to expect in the next measure.
