my organization is called: Myspace Addiction Clinic, and i help anyone that needs help undoing their addiction. i, myself was once addicted but then i found out that there was a "real world", there are things outside of my bedroom that i never knew existed. for instance, i found out the other day that there is a thing called: "the outdoors", now when i heard about this i had no idea what it was, so i went outside, and wow. i stepped out my front door and i had to put my hands up to sheild the sun from blinding me and the ground was cold but the wind was blowing and as it hit my face i couldnt help but smile. i love the outdoors and now i try to spend most of my time outside rather then sitting on the computer on myspace for twenty hours a day.
how did i find help?
well the answer is simple, i was sitting on line one day and my mother yelled to me to go outside and grab the newspaper........i know what youre thinking, how the fuck can that bitch sit there doing nothing but watching t.v., tell me to get up and away from the computer, not to mention i was on myspace, and make me go get the paper, i thought she was kidding but she wasnt. so after numerous attempts to get up and away from the computer, i got up and ran outside as fast as i could, i didnt want to miss someone commenting me or messaging me, so i ran outside and once i got out there, it was amazing.
steps to getting rid of your addiction:
Step One: Admitting you have a problem. If you are reading this right now, chances are you are addicted.
Step Two: Signing off of myspace. Just click the signout button at the top of the myspace page.
Step Three: Try going on a different website or maybe talk on AIM. I know this might be a little difficult to do at first because when you are addicted to myspace the only site that exist in the world is myspace. I suggest walking away from the computer but we dont want to get ahead of ourselves.
Step Four: Shut down your computer. I know, i know, this is extremely difficult but just do it, dont think about it. Click shut down without second guessing it.
Step Five: WALKING AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER. I know what youre thinking, this must be the devil speaking but it is not. Walking away from the computer is one of the most important steps in curing your addiction. Just stand up and stretch out your arm and legs and get your blood circulation circulating again. Once you have feeling in your legs and arms again, take three steps away from the computer, turn your back to the computer and begin walking. Go towards your front door of your house and walk outside.
Step Six: This is the final step. Stay outside for more than two hours, if you can do this, you are cured my friend. Repeat these steps once or twice a day and by the end of the week, myspace will no longer be weighing on your mind.
