About Me

I just woke up. Sometimes it seems as if there is never enough chocolate. I prefer to carry a pocketwatch, but have yet to find one that will survive under the abuse that my pocket will afford it. Coffee puts the happiness in my mind. Keep Moving Forward! Time is my only non-renewable resource, and wasting it sometimes feels as exhilarating as spending it wisely. I follow the eleventh commandment and keep it Wholly. I like to eat all things with the exception of okra; Sometimes, when I hear funny noises in a quiet old house, I flashback to my grandmother telling me that it was just the house "settling," I believe in intensity, I love authors who have a delightfully twisted way of wording the simplest of ideas, and sometimes it makes me laugh to see people look confused. Also, I walk from home to work.
I grew up in the northwest corner of Alabama (a delicious mix of rural countryside and urban politics) and have spent the last six years or so attempting to make a living playing music, repairing horns, cultivating immeasurable bonds with the most incredible people, and trying to avoid brown recluse spiders of any account. At present I am apprenticing with a master instrument repair technician in Philadelphia and adjusting to life in the big city. My friends are incomparable. I have a great love and deep respect for all women...I love reading, music, movies, and enjoying a beer and conversation with close friends. This is all that will make it onto the webpage, I am afraid.

My Interests

"I think it's funny. There was a time when men were afraid that somebody would reveal some secret of theirs that was unknown to their fellows. Nowadays, they're afraid that somebody will name what everybody knows. Have you pratical people ever thought that that's all it would take to blast your whole, big, complex structure, with all your laws and guns-just somebody naming the exact nature of what you're doing?"
-Francisco d'Anconia, "Atlas Shrugged"

Maybe there is no Heaven. Or maybe this is all pure gibberish-a product of the demented imagination of a lazy drunken hillbilly with a heart full of hate who has found a way to live out where the real winds blow-to sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whisky, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind except falling in love and not getting arrested... Res ipsa loquitur.

Let the good times roll.
