Techno! Ok there are some others, but the list is just too long. Big names outside of dance music would include Radiohead (we are just not worthy!!), Nirvana (back in the day), Sonic Youth, Pearl Jam (I know!!), Pink Floyd (yes I have seen them live...so suck it up if you haven't!), Sugar (again, back in the day), Breeders, Polly Harvey (PJ Harvey for those of us old enough to remember her then) and far more than I can be bothered to type.
Television:
South Park, Clone Wars, Simpsons, Family Guy, Stargate SG-1 (I'm not that big a geek, really I'm not), 24 and generally anything in the way of an interesting documentary.
Books:
