Favourite programme of all time is Doctor Who (yes, I know I'm sad), but I mainly like comedies - Fawlty Towers, Blackadder, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Anything with Dave Allen, Not Only But Also, Red Dwarf, Jam, Green Wing, Ripping Yarns, Father Ted, The Day Today, Black Books, Monkey Dust. I also like some culty stuff like Neverwhere, Twin Peaks, A Very Peculiar Practice, the Quatermass trilogy, The Stone Tape, Blake's 7, The Prisoner, The Avengers. I also like most stuff by Dennis Potter, particularly Pennies From Heaven and The Singing Detective.
I love Renaissance literature, which is handy as I'm currently devoting the majority of my life to it at the moment. James Joyce - Ulysses, Thomas Pynchon - The Crying of Lot 49, Joseph Heller - Catch 22, Kurt Vonnegut - Slaughterhouse 5, The Sirens of Titan, Douglas Adams - The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Samuel Beckett - Endgame, Waiting for Godot, Anton Chekhov - The Cherry Orchard.
