NOW IN EVEN TIGHTER PANTS!

About Me

Three years ago THE CHOCOLATE ROCKETS rocked the swiss music scene with their First Album «Now Listen». After intensive touring and a change in the line-up, the Bernese rocking rockets are firing up their second engine: The long-awaited second longplayer «Natural Move» thrills its audience with the familiar straightforward Rock ‘n’ Roll, but also surprises with astonishing attention to detail.
After a European tour supporting Danko Jones and 50 or so gigs later, THE CHOCOLATE ROCKETS had reached the height of their musical career. Guitarist Adrian decided that it was time to leave the band so that he could spend more time with his family. These were challenging times.
In the spring of 2007, to get back on track, the guys signed a production contract with Ronald Bood. He has produced prestigious acts like Mando Diao, the Sugarplum Fairies and the Shout out Louds, to name just a few. Now that they had fixed a date for the next recording sessions there was just one thing left to do – writing new songs.
THE CHOCOLATE ROCKETS packed up their whole kit and caboodle including a generator to spend a couple of days in a log cabin. While far away from any civilization, with only beer and grilled meat to keep them from going insane, they worked on the songs that would later be on «Natural Move». Even Ronald Bood was brave enough to come down to Switzerland for a visit and to do the pre-production and enjoy some Swiss fondue.
«Natural Move» was recorded shortly afterwards, during a 4 week session in Stockholm and then mastered by Howie Weinberg of the MasterDisk Studio in New York. The second longplayer of THE CHOCOLATE ROCKETS, which is also their first real studio album, will be released in April, 2008. Now with their new guitarist Pascal on board, they can hardly wait to hit the stage with new vitality but still rockin’.
