Influences: At a very young age, I was heavily affected by the Likes of Maynard Ferguson, Doc Severinson, Randy Brecker, Freddy Hubbard and Guido Basso. I then moved on to Groups like Tower of Power, Chicago and Blood ,Sweat and Tears.
My father was a trumpet player in a marching band and was my first Instructor at the tender age of 8. He always said "Play the melody with heart, and you will always work". It took many years to really understand the depth and truth of that Line. It has served me very well after 40 years of playing this piece of Pipe. Today, I still listen to Randy Brecker and Guido Basso, they are both very influential in my playing.
I also have deep interest in Eastern Philosophy, Marathon running, Comparative Religions, History, Cooking and Economics.

Sounds Like: My Latest Album was an attempt to write Instrumental music in the "Jobim" style. The song form, (AABA for eg.) seems like it is becoming a lost art!!.
I enjoy writing and arranging music, and recently I have developed a passion for producing, be it a live show or studio. I love bringing the right people together for a project, probably because I love people.
