...I come from Prague-Czech Republic-not really a flatpicking spot, though:-) In high school I got hooked up on bluegrass , especially on Tony Rice´s music when a friend of mine lent me a worn out tape with T. Rice- Cold On The Shoulder, I think I played it over and over till it broke...¨:-)It was very difficult to buy records in Prague at that time but it was then I knew I "had to" play the acoustic guitar....Later on I started to play mandolin, telecaster, and bass ocassionally, also doing other styles such as gypsy swing, country and Irish music. At the moment I play with Monogram-a bluegrass band based in Prague, and with Nugget-Vienna, Austria.Both bands keep busy touring Europe and have performed in the US.Thru the years I have worked with Liz Meyer, Ramblin´ Rex, Jimmy Bozeman, Radim Zenkl, Sophie Schnitzer and more.... ************************************************************ ***
