Back and ready to eat!!!

About Me

This blog started out on my regular profile as a couple of restaraunt reviews but grew into so much more!

Food has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember.

I'm sick of my friends thinking that they have to buy fast food at lunch time when there are so many good places to eat.

My mission is simple - to highlight the best restaraunts, cafe's and pubs in the Cardiff and South Wales area.

I've also started posting some of my own recipes and general thoughts on all things foodie.

I have also started reviewing for the new I Love Cardiff site.

If you want to view my regular profile go to my friends list - I'm at the top.

To contact me about the blog or to make suggestions on where I eat next email [email protected] MyGen Profile Generator

My Interests

All types of cuisine from Sushi, Malaysian and Thai through to Indian, European and of course my first love, Italian food.

I'd like to meet:

People who believe good food shouldn't cost the Earth.

Lifelong Cardiffians, new arrivals, students, bands - if you're in, near or even visiting Cardiff and need to know where to eat.

Also anyone in the industry wanting to promote their venue.

Basically anyone interested in good food!

There is too much talk of cooking being an art or a science - we are only making ourselves something to eat. Nigel Slater (1997)

Music:

I love to listen to music when I cook - currently listening to Big Strides, Muse, We Are Scientists, Pulp

Books:

Feast by Nigella Lawson - the woman writes the closest equivalent to food porn!

The Kitchen Diaries - Nigel Slater

Sound Bites - Alex Kapranos

Heroes:

My nonna and mam for teaching me how to cook, and more importantly, how to eat
