I felt really out of place... Why, because we were talking about toilets?

About Me

Tall, hairy, easily pleased.

My Interests

Not going to bed at the appropriate time. Watching Sutton United F.C. Drinking real ale in nice pubs whilst talking shite. Gigging, lot.s of gigging. Design. Developing embarrassing/illogical/stupid/misguided sinfatuations with various people, music and things.

I'd like to meet:

People who are easily pleased by what easily pleases me.

Music:

Art Brut, Mirmis, Flaming Lips, Pog, Manic, Gorky's Zygotic Mynci, Gruff Rhys, Oasis, The Decemberists, Kate Walsh, Stone Roses, Blondie, Badly Drawn Boy, Dogs Die in Hot Cars, The Who, Tomboy, Shins, Raveonettes, Beatles, Libertines, Maximo Park, Kings of Leon, Jet, Kirsty McColl, Graham Coxon, Blur, Findlay Brown, David Gray, Feeder, In The Fur, Jason Webley, Kooks, Kasabian, Magic Numbers, The Coral, Weezer, The Album Leaf, Pulp, David Gray, Beirut, British Sea Power, Postal Service some random Welsh stuff and lots and lots of one hit wonders, one album wonders and guilty secrets.

Movies:

I don't watch many, no money left for cinema, nobody to go with etc Always miss the start and don't get the plot when they're shown on telly. Anyhoo, Trainspotting was great, what i saw of the Clockwork Orange was good, the Whicker Man is the ONLY thing i have ever seen on tv that has scared me, those animal masks are mucked up.Always liked those kids plasticine animations too, always written by very witty people, funnily enough they're always British too. Rock on!

Television:

QI, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Dangermouse, Top Gear, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, HIGNFY, The Boosh (i was there when it was on BBC3 in the middle of the night and people told me i was an idiot for making them watch it so all you latecomers can go bugger off on Gary Numan's plane and rape a fox) The New Statesman, Black Books, Teachers and any number of stunningly geeky documentaries.

Books:

I don't really read fiction but the Wasp Factory was awesome, Stephen Fry's novels even more so and 72 Virgins by the great Mr Johnson was good in it's own bumbling way. Can't think of much else fiction i've read since Enid Blyton and the Hotspur/Beano/Dandy/Broons/Our Wullie albums i read as a kid (and still do!)Non fiction wise, anything by Boris, Pete McCarthy, Tony Hawks, Dave Gorman, Jeremy Clarkson, Danny Wallace plus some sporting/history stuff e.g. a book on football in Iraq or the New York Cosmos. I like reading about people doing stupid things or stuff that actually happened.Autobiographies are another favourite, Michael Atherton's is excellent (probably cos he actually wrote it) as is Niall Quinn's and a few others. I have one on Mao that is the size of house and i might finish before i draw my pension.

Heroes:

Dangermouse.
