About Me

I wish that every child could see the absolute beauty within themselves. I have been so blessed in my life to be able to have contact with and love so many great kids. I have six beautiful children that God has seen within his plan to place with me. Each came to me in their own uniquely wonderful way and I love them all. Do not ever ask me which one is "mine" or who is adopted. I really hate that as my heart knows no difference so neither should yours. I have a PhD in International Trade - I have specialized in Contract Negotiation, and did very well for myself but never felt truly fulfilled until I got to be more involved with kids and their needs. I have M.S. (multiple sclerosis) and have not been feeling very well lately, but that is okay, because it reminds me of how precious life is and how wonderful the simple blessings are. I think that each one of us are given challanges that we must overcome in life. It is those times that we are given our strengths. I'd like to meet:

There is no one really specific. I have met so many people from all over the world and find that no matter how much money they have or where they have been in life - they are just people. I have dined with Kings and Queens, Danced everywhere from the White House to a grass hut, eaten food that was prepared in exquisite kitchens and cost small fortunes to food that was made with love in a tin can pot. I have found that they are all a wonderful part of living. People are all human and I would like to meet as many as possible.

Although it still generally sux, I will say that I do schedule my time around The View. I love that show! I especially LOVE the first 15 minutes. Joy Behr - I absolutely ADORE her!

Books:

Every day. All the time. All kinds. Romance, kids, journals, research, love to read ANYTHING. Can't even go to sleep without reading a bit. Love them.

Heroes:

Survivors. People who have been there, done that (or had it done to them) and survived. The people of Liberia esp the children and the people who love them enough to let them go.
