Lorna, lornarus or lornypoo, who I have known since we shared a pram together when I was tiny, is a legend. Although we have not seen much of each other recently, because we have both buggered off to uni, I know that we will always be friends and be there for each other.
Charlotte is one of a kind. I first met her in the spinney at school, having a fag, as you do. We have been through a lot together and can always rely on her to brighten my day. She also has an uncanny ability to spot a rabbit from about 400 yards away! (Then shoot it with MIND BULLETS!)
Bobby is...well...bobby. The English language doesn’t quite have the words to describe him. When eating apples, he will eat the core, he is wicked at computer programming (www.greebot.co.uk), is the only person that I can have a sensible conversation about the pros and cons of different ballista designs, and the only one mad enough to spend hours in my garage making bows with me. His unintentional nonconformity is so refreshing.
Lauren always makes me smile. She has long blonde hair like you wouldn’t believe and would do anything for her friends. I can rely on her to tell me it straight, which is so valuable. She can always cheer me up regardless of how down I’m feeling. She is also my surrogate mum to be, we will have such hot kids.
Lizzie is the cutest thing since...um...sliced bread? I met her at drama and we just clicked. Her sense of humour is great and she’s such a lively person, she always manages to turn my frown upside down. I really miss our adventures after drama, although I still haven’t managed to get the Chinese food stains out of the upholstery of the car!
Miranda has green hair. A lot of people don’t look further than that. They should. She is extremely generous, trustworthy and loyal. I have only known her since the start of uni but in that time she has become a very good friend. I trust her judgement and will often give me a new perspective on situations that I could not see. Shame she’s a Londoner.
Corinna, or Corinna Jane to her fans is great. We first met when we had piano lessons together in year 8. I quit after a few months but she got really good. Grr. She is a really lovely girl and a very talented musician. I will always remember when she sang a song as her speech for the head girl elections! Was actually really good!
Xander. I can’t exclude Alex from my heroes list. He is an amazing guy. He is kind, generous and thoughtful. I have spent a great 8 months of my life with him, and will always remember it. He knows more about me than most people and I know that I could still trust him with anything.
