born in the late fifties in frankfurt/germany wolfman started, in the age of 11, his musical career as bassplayer and songwriter in the band named "nobody need it" and nobody needed it. he worked on his skills as walking-bassplayer and the lyrics became better. with 18 years he opened up his first 8-track studio and worked, on the other hand, as alpha-tester for dynacord (pa-equipment). the experience of live-mixing and studio-productions opened him, in the age of 21, the door to work in lubbock/texas, where he build a 24-track recording- and rehearsal-studio, in commision. wolfman learned about mastering and finishing a product and back in germany he build, 25 years old, one of the first german mastering-studios. in the beginning analog, later digital and analog, let us call it "hybrid". the cooparation with djamil (a german vinyl-cutting-guru) gave wolfman on hand what he needed, to became himself a good mastering-engineer. over 800 lp´s and over 3000 maxis is the result of that work, yet. parallel wolfman worked on his career as producer and sound-designer and he assembled a lot of musicians and creative people. the latest stroke is "toolhouse recordings", wolfman´s own recordcompany, where he and his partners want to release "just good music". stay tuned!!!
