WHO WE ARE: We are group of three people, Jamal (J), Cloak & Dagger. Jamal and Dagger moved to York over a year ago. Jamal has has worked in the club scene for three years in Manchester and is no stranger to rappin, himself. Cloak & Dagger have always had a real love for hip hop, R&B and Grime. We noticed the lack of Hiphop, R&B, Grime and reggae music being played in York nightclubs and our plan was hatched. Because of our united passion and love for Hiphop, reggae, Grime and R&B we decided to call ourselves 'One Love'. Our aim is to create a new massive Hiphop, R&B, Reggae, and Grime movement in York. We aim to hold monthly events with different supporting acts/ artists at various locations throughout York, and we are currently working on -The venues -The live acts -Dance competitions We also intend to have an open mic night as a part of the event. Our work is still in the pipeline so please bear with us and in the meanwhile, support us get the word about!!
