SNIPERIVAL, from Western Sydney, have played over 20 shows in their first 12 months. Since January 2007, they have played with Australia & New Zealand’s punk favourites such as Unpaid Debt, Not Quite Right, Bagster, Yidcore & The Disables. But to top off a year to remember they supported Frenzal Rhomb at The Metro theatre in Sydney. Their self released, self funded, self written, self designed, self distributed Debut EP ‘Black Ties For Bullet Vests’ (recorded at Electric Sun Studios with Shane ‘Buddha’ Edwards) is just a taste for BIG things to come!

The Sniperival Story
Yeah so Breno and Nathan put an ad in a music store in Penrith. It mentioned 'strung out' as influences. When a mate of brendan's gave this to him, he first messed his pants, then called breno and organised a time to jam... then he cleaned his pants.
Priorities first.
Anyway, so these guys jammed and it felt pretty comfortable... until they realised they'd been jamming for 8 months and didn't have a singer. They called up Dale, and he was really good, but he only showed up like twice or something. They tried a few more people, but Dale was pretty good... and conveniently lived nice and close so they called him back. This time he showed up twice... in a ROW! Then again and again, and he became a band member... they've all grown to like him
We played our first gig at the empire hotel, annandale, on 6/01/07 and our friends packed the place out and it was a first gig to remember. We are continually looking to play shows anywhere around sydney, and in future, of course, to tour interstate. We'd love to play more All Ages shows as well.
