2008 - YEAR OF THE BULLDOG

About Me

Bulldog Spirit’s new release Aint No Angel is the long awaited follow up to their sold out debut self titled LP and CD. After a brief hiatus the band is back in devastating form with a crushing and uncompromising six track release on Trial and Error Records. Equal parts pissed off street punk and old school hardcore combine to deliver one almighty slap of reality to pretenders and wannabe’s everywhere.
"These cunts make me want to throw my little sister down the stairs. BULLDOG SPIRIT have come into their own on this release. The term 'Oi-core' was made for this band. Harder than a hobnail boot but with the musical chops and ferocity to back it up."
- Matt Kelly
( Fit For Abuse/ Dropkick Murphys )

Originally formed in Canberra with the lineup of Doug on vocals, Adam on guitar, Dean on bass and Cozzy on drums, Bulldog Spirit released their debut CD and LP on Brutus Records. After a period of inactivity and the movement of band members, Bulldog Spirit reformed with the current lineup based in Melbourne.
Good luck trying to find any copies of the CD or the LP. The vinyl has long sold out as there was only 500 copies pressed, and we can't even get our hands on any copies of our own CD. Download the fucking thing off the internet, burn it off a mate, or just hold out for the bootleg. You can download the songs from our MySpace if you want.
Lately Bulldog Spirit has been writing new material and playing around the place with everyone from local bands such as Marching Orders and The Worst to international tourers such as the Dropkick Murphys and Agnostic Front.
