Coralia, formerly the Concert Choir of the University of Puerto Rico, has represented the island at many festivals and competitions in the United States, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. In 2003, the choir earned the top prize at the prestigious Orlando di Lasso competition in Italy. Last summer they carried away the prize for best performance in the folklore division of the Competition of Habaneras and Polyphony in Torrevieja, Spain. Coralia has performed with the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, and many of the members have sung in opera galas with singers such as Plácido Domingo and Diego Flores, among others
