The Ethical Consumerism Initiative

Make a Difference

About Me

I am a student named sophie, interested in current issues such as ethical consumerism, sustainable technology/design and fair trade.

I have set up The Ethical Consumerism Initiative to try and raise awareness of the ethical consumer movement so that people can make more informed consumer choices and, by doing so, help benefit traders in the third world.

Through the medium of the E.C.I, i also hope to make the increasing industry of sustainable technology and design a more understandable and accessable issue and possible career path for future, up and coming designers.

Over the next year i hope to arrange and organise a series of events in the Cornwall area to help raise people's awareness, aswell as some money for worthwhile charities.

Any upcoming events will be featured through this E.C.I page.

If you would like some more information about Fair Trade, then e-mail me at [email protected].
