Vasudeva is an indie-rock trio from the North Hills of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Vasudeva has a very driving rock sound, with a very cutting guitar, driving bass, thundering drums and soaring vocals. We play all originals.
Vasudeva (pronounced vah-soo-deh-vah) got together in October of 2006 and played their first show in February of 2007. Chad, with his driving guitar sound and souring vocals, first started jamming with Derek, with his driving bass, in each other’s basements since 2003. When Chris, with his thundering drum style, was introduced, Vasudeva was born. They have a style that shows classic and modern rock influence, while still looking towards the future in their sound.
