Attention all California Division members!!! Myself and Bboy Moon are trying to organize an event in summer 2008 in which all CA Division Crews and members will meet up with a my crew from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My crew, the Phoenix Kingz along with our close friend, Bboy Zero of Florida, may be traveling to Simple Definition Crew's hometown of Irvine. Subsequently, all CA Division members are invited to such an event. However, this will require extensive planning. National Youth Bboy Society is a nationwide bboy alliance and hip-hop awareness group made up of high school and college students all across the United States. The mission of NYBS is to promote and actively participate in hip-hop culture amongst the nation's young people by utilizing the four elements of hip-hop, them being breakdancing, MCing, DJing, and graffiti, and by educating our peers in the benefits of embracing hip-hop culture. Founded during the spring of 2007, NYBS now consists of seven member crews from four states, and over thirty members from six states. While it is difficult for all state divisions to work concertedly, our individual efforts are raising awareness about hip-hop in their respective schools.
