DEAN has been performing in bands and onstage since the age of 15 and is best known these days in Melbourne as a musical theatre performer , having played the roles of JEAN VALJEAN (Guild Judges Award), THE PIRATE KING (Best Actor Nomination) and JAVERT in recent years. He recently performed the role of MACDUFF in the Melbourne premiere of Macbeth: the Contemporary Rock Opera and PIRELLI in DTC’s SWEENEY TODD at the DRUM THEATRE. His latest role is JUDGE TURPIN in the MumCo Production of SWEENEY TODD, to be staged in August at the ALEXANDER THEATRE.
DEAN’s stage musical production TOWER OF WOW , was staged at the Kaleide Theatre in Melbourne 2005.
