Unity is basically a song writing duo. Chris Symons and Liz Cruise.
Chris and Liz have been working together for 4 years now, and write songs that reflect the times in which we live, and the events that affect them. Chris composes the music in the main, and Liz the words, melody and harmonies.We were introduced to each other about Four and a Half years ago via a mutual friend and mentor, and have been writing ever since. These days it is difficult to get time to write together, as for the both of us our work and families take up a lot of our time. At the moment we tend to work using
e-mail and telephone.
We have never seen ourselves as performers, and to that end, the Cd's we have produced have been performed by us purely to get the songs across, in the hope that someone else might take them further.
We recorded a rough Cd for the first time back in 2004, and spurred on by the result, we set out to write our first album of original songs.
'Only The Start Of It' was finished in Dec 2005. Our second album 'The Bridge' was finished in Feb of 2007. The new album 'Insomnia Rules Again' has just been finished, and we very much hope you find that it strikes a chord somewhere within you.src="http://img.freecodesource.com/images/promote/click.
