About Me

Born in Melbourne and raised by a single mum into a country / city slicker Gypsy /Tarot / rock'n roll lifestyle. Bands, crazy parties smoky rooms with lots of Insence. Faint memories of eating Samboy salt + Vinegar potato chips under pub tables on 70's carpet. Lived in over 30 houses and flats, went to six or seven primary schools, three High schools and I've been in about ten bands. Was a sports freak as a kid, adventure playground tiggy WITHOUT touching the ground was the ultimate! "Dam'n we'd jump far".Now I have troubles running 300m. Saw "Raiders of the Lost Ark" in '80 and I totally lost my shit! Harrison's the man. Lego was the means necessary to chill in the one spot for hours, especially when being babysat. Hated after school programs and their shitty vegemite toast, never was picked up from school on time. Collected Star Wars stuff, loved drawing, playing with matchbox cars, Archery and had heaps of pets. All my fish died, my dogs got lost and my cats were hit by cars. Had my first drum lesson when I was 10. Got a job at a video store soon after that for a few weeks and watched everything. Wore out many Star Wars VHS tapes, whilst living on Hot dogs, strawberry creams, Zapple and FATCHOOK. Seen Halley's Comet, played with electric fences, taunted Bulls with green sleeping bags. Had many a Water bomb fight, went rabbit hunting with spotties, played footy with Aborigines, had my first ciggy at 8 "Could do the drawback mate"! then gave up for a few years. Tried for a new life in Queensland in '86, which involved learning Bass guitar, bodyboarding and playing with Ninja swords. Saw Aliens and it changed my life again, numbing me from the fear of any scary movie for ever... until Wolf Creek of course. Moved to Bayside Area in '88 and everything became normal. Became a Metallikat and played drums everyday after '90, studied drumming hardcore. Take it a day at a time these days, go to school, draw Fuedal Japanese stuff and brainstorm story ideas and shots for the graphic novel my best mates and I are currently entrenched in. Trying to learn Japanese, will get there one day and dig relaxing with a movie on my laptop which is usually a Zatoichi flik or anything Sci-Fi. Love my Bro's, me Mum and all my mates, you know who you are! Rock On, Rythym On and may the Funk and Grooves be with you all, for eternity.
