I think that in life you meet the people you do for a reason, and I believe anyone that you're meant to meet in life you will. However, what you do upon meeting them is up to you. I generally enjoy people from all walks of life and I don't judge on first impressions because anyone can mess up. There's only angry people in the world cause no one takes the time to truly find out who they are and understand them on a deeper level than the surface. Also, it you're stuck up I'm not going to like you and further more you probably don't even like yourself, so once you get your head out of your ass feel free to talk to me. :)I stole this from Karen's page. All the music I like couldn't be fit into any I-Pod in this world, let alone this page. I'm musical and thus, I like, and enjoy almost all types of music. However I'm truly impressed by the kinds of emotions that are expressed through the blues, and in musical theatre. The voice is the rawest and most expressive instrument God ever created, and I admire those that can utilize it, like Michael Buble, who is one of the best jazz vocalist of our time he's basically a mix of Sinatra, Martin, Connick Jr. Any Hawaiian Kine music and I look up to Jack Johnson cause he's an island boy just like me and he made something of his music and himself. Also RASCAL FLATTS are the best country group ever! Remember this... Music comes from the soul, and if you enjoy it then that's all that matters, don't listen to what others have to say, cause in the end you're the true artist and composer.
Moulin Rouge is my all-time favorite movie thus far because it has a lot of sentimental value, however 'The Producers,' is bad ass, Nathane Lane,Matthew Brodrick, and Uma Therman are amazing. As a side note... Phantom of the Opera kicked ass too. Emmy Rossum was amazing as Christine, Gerard Buttler was okay as the phantom, and Raoul is really creepy and ugly, but overall it was great, and the cinematography was absolutly breath taking. Can't wait for Hairspray and Sweeny Todd to come out in theaters either.This is The Best Version of Phantom Ever!!!!!
Simpsons, American Idol, King of The Hill, Family Guy, Fresh Price of Bel-Air(It's on Nick@Night now, which means my ass is getting old, Heros, UFC, MMA, Boxing. I hardly get the chance to watch tv but that's the layout of my viewing pleasures.
I enjoy pretty much everything written by Stephen King (especially IT), Dean Koontz, Fyodor Dostoevsky ( I think I spelt that right, and if it's wrong it's Kyle Johnson's fault...),Sylvia Plath, Plato, Socrates, Shakespeare. Poetry is simply amazing as well. I really enjoy Robert Frost, Edgar Allen Poe, and Dr. Seuss!!!! As far as reading musical literature I believe that Moses Hogan is one of the most tallented choral composers of our lifetime and of future generations as well. If you are able to get a hold of a recording of Elijah Rock, or The Battle of Jericho you'll understand what I mean.
I'd pretty much have to say my parents on this one, because they've kept my nose clean all these years and made sure I never lost my love for music or people. Everyone I've met in my life I've leraned something from, and anyone you can learn something from you should respect, as such, I have the upmost respect for people in my life unless they do something to break my trust, but that's hard to do because I'm a pretty laid back Hawaiian dude that just likes to get a long with everyone. AND Marvin Gaye... The only man alive whose better with woman than me. JK! I love his music and I think he's the original ladies man...
