Deeper than the deepest frisbee.

About Me

I've recently married and graduated Summa Cum Laude from college, and I have plans to go on to graduate school in order to teach at the collegiate level. In the mean-time, I model and work as a freelance writer and editor. I am the weekly style columnist for the Metro Spirit and a fashion writer for Gothic Beauty Magazine. My internal censor is faulty and I have a somewhat masculine personality. I'm a vegetarian who hates vegetables, and I have a phobia of both tanning and tornadoes. I'm a certified scuba diver, and I learned to ride horses on an English saddle. I don't really care about looks, but I find social ineptitude revolting. The extrovert in me is juxtaposed against my inner misanthrope, but I never make up my mind about someone until I have given them a fair chance.I don't respect you unless you are able to say to my face what you really think of me. I don't get drunk because I'm a control-freak. I despise pseudo-intellectualism. I am outgoing and view bitchiness as a sign of weakness. I have borderline Stendhal's syndrome, seizures, and a mix of incredibly good and incredibly bad luck. Writing, drawing, singing jazz, learning, and traveling are my passions.

My Interests

Cyber, fetish, and gothic fashion, corsets and tightlacing, latex, fake hair, history (or all kinds, from women's to pre-human), the color pink, documentaries, experience, cats, animal rights, vegetarianism, wit, smartasses, travel, science, rhetoric, ethics, string theory, the humanities, beauty in all things, human anomalies, medicine, idealism, feminism, philosophy, debauchery, people who can see beyond social mores; human, minority, animal, and women's rights; movies, clubbing, music, politics, India, anthropology, forensics, environmentalism, being an overachiever, expressing who and what I am without fear of repression or blind stereotyping and finally being comfortable with myself, my past, my present, and everything that is yet to come.

I'd like to meet:

open minded, intelligent people, who know how to laugh (bonus points if you can do it at yourself) ! I also have a fabulous husband (finally married after 8.5 years)!
