My maternal grandparents: they were truly the most amazing and admirable people I have ever known. No kidding. But, I'm also a fan of the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Elizabeth I, Artemesia Gentileschi, Boudecia, Aung San Suu Kyi, Jane Goodall, Josephine Baker, Frida Kahlo, Black Elk, Peter Singer, and William Penn. Though no individual is prefect, I've found a lot to admire in these.
