...If it hurts, it can heal...

About Me

"Every Rose Has Its Thorn, ouch...did that hurt?"

I respect people who know how to create good music, an actor who becomes his role, an imaginative artist who's work makes me stop and think (I love trying to figure out what the artist is expressing through his/her work.) Art is like music, in that you can take a painting and sometimes read into it what YOU see, as for music... lyrically, you can translate what the song is saying to fit your life and emotions at that given moment, etc. Hope that makes sense! I also have great respect for people who can make me laugh, a stranger who could look me in the eye and smile, (sometimes a smile changes everything)...people who are "real", people not afraid to tell the truth and a great conversationalist.
I'm really into watching sporting events, especially when it's live, front row, center ; ) Football was awesome this year(Go Packers, great season, almost did it all the way!) Baseball...how bout them Dodgers?! My favorite part is the dodger dogs and beer. ;) The UFC is pretty gnarly, Hockey has always been the Kings. I really, really enjoy watching basketball...Lakers baby! They've been kickin ass this season, but i've always had faith! Ok, true they flippin blew it in the NBA Finals, and that was devastating, but they've come a helluva lot further from where they used to be!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I love music. I love love. I love life. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe that friends are the family we choose, and if I call you "my friend", then you know I'd give you the shirt off my back if you needed it. I love my family and friends and would do ANYTHING for them... i don't use the term ‘Friend’ lightly, same way i don't say I love you unless I really mean it. These are not words to just throw around, they lye pretty deep w/ in. yeah, guess I could get pretty deep...but, that's who i am. On the flipside, I love to laugh, and enjoy being around people who can crack me up, but if you know me, then you already know all of the above. What else do i want to share about me. Hmmmm... Maybe I should just let you get to know me personally rather than revealing it all here. Realistically, the only way you can truly "know" someone is if you spend time w/ em...don't you think? Inevitably, people will change. Feelings change, everything and everyone changes. I try to roll with the punches(changes)and keep moving forward on this rollercoaster ride of my extraordinary life.

Oprah and Bono, Firefighters, wrote to thank them for saving my elder friend, Ernie's life, twice. Officers, many of my friends' husband's are police, they work hard to protect us and risk their lives constantly. Highly repectful! Helping another human being is a heroic gester in my book.
