Sofie Guillois Larsen was a harpist. Harpcore was the office of Sofie. Sofie began composing electronic and experimental music, and she began changing her age and making happenings. Then she created a band. She named it harpcore band.
Harpcore band has a unique instrumentation of harps, vocal, percussion, samplers and electronics. The classical background of the composer and the musicians is mixed with the universe of electronic space-ray music. With this untraditional combination, harpcore creates a very different kind of musical expression that is airy, symphonic and punchy.
