SHUNT was formed in the summer of 2006 by Jason Serrano(bassist) after the demise of Downpoure. Jason Rogers(guitarist) was quickly added. Rich Morris(former guitarist for Psychosis, Burning Hatred as well as a short time in Downpoure) was asked to jump in on vocals. The drummer position was filled by Jason Henderson who had never played in a band before....His skill level was amazing to see in a very short amount of time and has continued to impress us.
With Rogers solid guitar playing, Serrano holding down the low end, Henderson's heavy-hitting, and Morris's screaming the band has become a heavy-yet-melodic sounding metal band that we hope to see some amazing things from in the future.
