Dj Steinert was born in Lanzarote.In 1998 he launched his Dj career playing at the island..s top venues which included: Disco Emporium, The Hippodrome,La Guarida,La Factoria,Paradise Beach Club, Dreams Disco, Maui, Zig-Zag, Bar 77, Gothams, Oasis Club (Fuerteventura).In 2000 he created “KALIMEUS” a group of Dj..s who toured the island playing more than 10 raves promoting different styles of music to the masses.Around the same time he started his radio career at “Radio Television Las Arenas” 98.6 FM and “Radio Horizonte” 96.4 FM.In 2002 Dj Steinert was recognized in Lanzarote by the local press, for his innovative style and many achievements, labelling him the “first official DJ of Lanzarote”!In the summer 2003 he was offered the resident Dj job at the Red Lion in Puerto Banus (Marbella). At the end of the summer 2003 he left Spain and travelled to England where he did a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology. He passed his course with 3 distinctions and at the top of his class. In July 2005 he returned to work in Lanzarote as the resident DJ at the island..s premier nightclub, called 928. Here he worked with top International Dj..s such as:Jesse Garcia, Nick Chatelain, Dj Cuccino, Dj Oz, Dj Makoki, Dave Creys, Albert Maris, Agus Arbol, etc…In June 2006 he designed original quality jingles for Spanish Radio Station: LI:Radio. 92.9 FMIn July 2006 Computer Music Magazine included his track “Dj Steinert – London” on their promotional CD-RomThe 11th July 2006 Dj Steinert played in Ibiza at the famous Club “El Divino”Two weeks later an article appeared in a well known Lanzarote Magazine “Lancelot” talking about his first debult album “Made in Lanzarote” and his DJ career.The 31st July 2006 Dj Steinert released his first album “Made in Lanzarote” where he produced all the music included.September 2006 DJ Steinert was featured in the influential National Dance Magazine “DeeJay” and even had his track “Tribal Organ” included on the inserted promotional CD.
