Way of The Dragon

About Me

Peace! This picture is an artists wonderful expression of the Arabic words which read "In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful". It is in the shape of a Swan, very similar to a Crane which to me represents balance in life... and God is everything to do with balance for His signature is in all His creation. I firmly believe that belief in God adds hue and dimension to ones life. Do not look to the branches and the blossoms, but to the root. Once you understand that, then you will understand everything. SubmissionI do not feel that one can get to totally understand me (or anyone for that matter) through an introductory essay or simple words alone, therefore if one wishes to know me then that one must "experience" me. To feel me you must move with me, and to move with me you must feel me. This is also a little martial art philosophy here, for that which is expressed in combat originates from within; For Martial Art, Ultimately is Self Expression. It is not an egotistical expression of personality, but Universal Truths emanating from within. Marital Art at it's essence is not to harm but is one of the avenues through which we explore ourselves and through which life unfolds itself. The punches and kicks are aimed at oneself as tools to kill the ego. I do not expect the non-martial artist or anyone to instantly grasp these truths; and it is not something that one can teach through words alone, for genuine truth comes from The Highest Source (God) and therefore must be grasped from within. So actually I cannot teach you anything, but God willing I can help you to explore yourself! The greatest teacher instructs the student such that the student is no longer in need of a teacher!Approach my page without any preconceived notions or blind ambitions. In other words, Empty your cup so that you can taste my cup of tea. For if your cup is already filled to the brim, how can you ever savor my own flavor? The usefulness of a cup is in it's own emptiness. It is not daily increase, but daily decrease. It is like the sculpture who hacks away the inessential until the truth is revealed. Like the artist who does not see himself as creating a piece, rather than giving that block of stone or wad of clay the freedom to express itself. Hearts can indeed be like blocks of stone. Liberate yourself! Keep your mind receptive of The Way. A muddled pool does not become clear by stirring, but by allowing it to settle, and then it puts in no effort to reflect the very heavens. I seek for the balance, rhythm and harmony in all things and the scales of the dragon shimmer of many colors. Therefore, it is best to know me through that which I express; so this writing simply remains a means to an end. It is like a finger pointing away to the moon. Don't concentrate on the finger or you will miss all of that heavenly glory. Likewise, focus not on me, but that which I represent! My page is simple and sweet with the most substance to be found in the thoughts I express. So take that which is useful to you, and disregard that which is useless. Also, there are many of you whom I wish to be on my Top-24, however not all of you will fit and I do not wish to pick and choose; therefore my list of Top-Friends will probably stay the same for the most part..... and there is also no particular order in which you are placed. My Top-24 is just simply that, my Top-24.And please keep the comments clean! Otherwise I will be forced to delete them!May it be well with you!
