ENVOY was formed at the beginning of 2006 in Budapest, Hungary.The group's influences include indie, British sounds and certain electronic genres. The music's distinctive approach lies in its clean, delay-based guitars and dual male-female vocals.The band completed its 7-song debut demo, All That I Have Heard, in November 2006, and has since been playing live regularly, often presenting its repertoire with additional instruments and visuals. One of the band's tracks, A Step Further Away, was featured on a compilation CD in the May 2007 issue of WAN2 magazine, a leading Hungarian music journal. In 2008 Evelyne Kandech from the city of Pécs joined on vocals.
