Well, normally, here is where I talk about me. And boy, can I talk. But it is a strange time in my life. I lost my dad last year (my best friend and sage) to a slow and painful death. So, with this tragic yet natural change in my life, along with being thirty-something (f*cking yikes), I am beginning to play "grown up". I just moved back to SF, bought a house and am playing house with my resident lumberjack Kev, the hugeglitch.
Personality-wise I'm a super-dork, cape and all. As that Japanese lady told me some time ago, "You veddy oreegeenal!" I'd say I'm calmer, more centered since I found my love. Oh yeah, I am also pretty f*cking funny. I am fairly open-minded, just don't talk to me about religion, politics or what you think people should or should not do or think. And "there are only two things in this world I can't stand: those who are intolerant of other's cultures - and the Dutch." (If you are Dutch and offended by that last line, you obviously haven't seen Austin Powers 3.)
I have realized that there is no time like the present to have my life be what I say it is about. It's funny, just when you think you know it all, you get schooled by someone who really knows more than you and find out you don't know sh*t and that there is a lot of work for you to do. But, life's good that way. I am excited to uncover the best side of myself.
