..Just to clarify and since most people cannot pronounce my birth name correctly; I go by Moses. My real name is "Moisés" (or Moses) and it is pronounced with an accent mark on the "e". To avoid the Ten Commandments and Red Sea jokes … I go by "MOY" which is my nickname. My friends and family call me ~Moy~ and I was named after my father.
So now that that is out of the way … what can I say about me? I have always wanted to write about my life. As a joke I sometimes tell people that I would make more money writing a book about it than doing what I am doing or what I’ve done in the past. Certainly, Soap Opera material cause believe me … I’ve had a crazy life. Most people say that I am a crazy MoFo but in a good way, I think. Respectful to others and to my self is a big deal for me. I believe in being treated, as you want to be treated. I definitely have a strong personality and strong drive for success. I am a Capricorn and some people say that I have sex appeal. I think I am friendly and definitly courteous to most people. I like looking presentable and to dress well. I have a weakness for shoes and sunglasses and sweet things; mainly Chocolate and bread, especially Mexican sweet bread. I am always eager to learn something new and tend to get bored quickly. I am definitely loyal to friends and I am very passionate about love and everything that I do and believe in.
My motto is “Balance†I do not consider my self-religious although I was raced Catholic. I have been studying
Kabbalah for about a year in a half and
a Teacher from L.A just agreed to help me out (Thank you G). I plan on getting more involved in organizing this Jewish mysticism events in San Francisco, learning more about it and sharing it with others. It just made a lot of sense to me. Understanding many of the things that I already knew but that couldn’t quite explain. It helped me tremendously during the lows in my life. I really dig it!. Another thing that also keeps me in shape spiritually and physically besides working out regularly is Yoga. My father used to practice Yoga and oh boy did he look foolish while doing some of the posses but I know understand what he felt while looking like a human pretzel. He is gone now.
I am a jack of all trades type of guy. I seem to know a little about many things but not an expert about none. I consider my self a worldly person. I honestly enjoy learning about other cultures and sharing with others mine. I have always wanted to count the places that I have been to. Not to brag but to encourage others to do the same. I really think it shapes who you are and changes the way you think; getting outside of your bubble. I have met so many wonderful people that thanks to them; I have given the opportunity of a lifetime. Some of the places I have been to in no particular order:

Another adventure under my belt, is having the oportunity of being part owner of a Night Club venue known as The Up & Down Club in San Francisco for over three years.It used to be a trendy Jazz place back in the 80's and very well known mostly because of her previous owner,Christy Turlington
People some times ask me if I would do it again and my answer is always hell no! I had a really bad experience. Lots of work, lots of fights and lots of sleepless nights. It is not as glamorous as some people may think. Although I have achieved many things in my life but I am not yet reached complete success and I find my self back to point zero sort of speak. Tiring but promising. My goals in life are different and I am now just going with the flow and living my life a bit slower than before...
