Why?

About Me

About you:
I exist solely for your disapproval.
More about me:
I love almost everything, however I do not particularly like the following things: "having a good time", "hanging with friends", "chilling on the beach," "finding hot singles in Tacoma," or "meeting cool and interesting people." Some day I would like to make an extremely slow-moving film called "Eyes Wide Shut-in." Occasionally I like to get in touch with nature, but mostly via long distance phone calls and letters. This was taken at the impressive wildlife preserve and duck pond on the University of Washington campus:
More about you:
Wouldn't you like to know...
More than you want to know about me:
The distance that I can see ahead is growing closer - does this mean that some day my vision will be so poor that I will only be able to see behind?
Please check back periodically for changes in this profile as the molotov cocktails explode on the streets below, sparks hitting my window like pebbles thrown by a lover, calling me to join La Revolucion.
Air kisses,
Aimee
P.S. - I'm the smartest narcissist Benjamin knows, with the exception of my arch-nemesis Mr. Chattypants, who is now teaching Philosophy at SFSU (congratulations, arch-nemesis!)...

My Interests

impossibility; inevitability; the unbearable lightness of being; gravity; collaborative efforts; elaborate comforts; famous blue rain coats; velvet blazers; the Satan's Lipgloss Sewing Circle; guerilla art; insomnia; my parrots; my cats; other peoples' cats; cats who belong to no one; electric sitars; foreign films; bygone eras of in a sense; dirty phrases in French; poppies; cognac hot toddies; eight-hour dance parties; skipping through fields of allergens and post-apocalyptic waste hand in hand; finding the other side of despair; trying to exhaust all poisons in the self and keep only their quintessences; obscurity and obfuscation; commie lovin' freedom hatin'; biting my tongue; ubergetrank; the ghosts you draw on my back; and this:

Some day I will have my own gang of menacing little kids, just like Donovan.

I'd like to meet:

People who like to stop at fruit stands. The overly ambitious. The just passing sane. People who dislike the word "irregardless". Another bottle of 1957 port. Richard Dawkins. Nietzsche. Donovan. Someone to tell me how and why and what the @%#&? Someone to tell me whether or not higher education is a luxury and a scam. Angel investors. People who want to watch my Wholphin dvds with me (Miranda July? The Turkish Jeffersons? The Power of Nightmares?). A sitar instructor. Revolutionaries. The words that linger at the tip of my tongue and retreat into my stomach.
