I spend way too much time working but when I'm not, I like to cook and bake and I'll walk just about anywhere (to counter said cooking and baking). I also LOVE tennis (couch commentator only) and you can always find me chatting with my buddies, reading, obsessing over music or exploring the city
Anyone and Everyone!
Who are the folks I'm into these days... Well, I still prefer electronica and industrial rock but I also enjoy hip-hop, classical, R&B, jazz and lots of other stuff. I also totally dig live music especially live rock and live jazz. Trent Reznor is my god as is Bjork. They're the great composers of my generation. I also love Basement Jaxx, Ravel, Esthero, Cibo Matto and Soul Coughing (RIP), Low Fidelity Allstarts, The Streets, Thrill Kill Kult and the Lords of Acid (of course), Meshell N'Degeocello, Prince, Beethoven, Tori Amos and Portishead.
I'm not really into movies--I pretty much stick to the indies. These days I've been hitting documentaries and catching up on the Oscar nominees of years past. But I still love Bollywood and Bill Murray and Heathers is the best movie ever made.
I don't watch too much T.V. either but I stick to my stories and anything that involves dancing. I'm trying to catch up on Heroes and The Shield with moderate success. I'm also a bit obsessed with The Discovery Channel and I'll pretty much watch any reality programming that Bravo churns out. When is Project Runway starting up again?
I love science fiction and horror. It's some of the best literature out there, period. Octavia Butler is excellent as is Ursula LeGuin. They represent the kind of science fiction that I enjoy. I'm also a big Stephen King fan. He's a wonderful storyteller. I'm currently reading Day Watch and still trying to muddle my way through Middlesex. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
I enjoy a good cheesesteak...or maybe a nice BLT.
