Introduced into hiphop culture since 1990,Excellence had first all started to assit to french rap event like shows,battles&parties.During these events,he was really attracted by the skills,technic&carism of some DJ's like DYNASTY/CUT KILLER.Few years laters,in 1994,he become himself a DJ.
1994/1999: DJ EXCELLENCE BLOW UP BLOW UP
At first,he came with few tapes,including a lot of french rappers,who spit bars on US an FRENCH beats.In 1996,he put on the market his "OEIL AU BEURRE NOIR" mixtape ,selling 1600 copies of this street tapes who became his first classic.
From this day,all of these mixtapes productions will be distribued across the country.
In the same time,he begins to play some records on Paris's club.Peoples appreciate his choice, mixing some US underground bootleg & commercial flavor.Among his own collection? he had then many exclusive of JAY-Z/DMX/TUPAc/DJ PREMIER.
1999/2005: DJ EXCELLENCE FALL DOWN THE PRODUCTION
It's been a long time that he was listenning US productions,but right now he's deciding to create his own beats.His first production was for a South Paris soundtrack.Next level,in 2001,with a beat demo,he step to record labels and major to sign a record deal producer (Universal/ EMI).Few days after his first met with some CEO,He got deal for severals collaboration(OL'KAINRY,DIAM'S,DISIZ LA PESTE,NEG'MARONS ) All of these French artists are Platinium Rappers.
Things speed up, and EXCELLENCE work quickly on movies & original movies soundtrack like TAXI 3/ ONG BAK/ BUCK'EM DOWN MOVIES by EUROPA CORP aka Mr LUC BESSON.
In the same time he produced several tracks for hiphop Dance DVD call "Dance with Mia Fry ",who also realised " THE DANCER ".He has worked also on 2 others HIPHOP Dance DVD produced by TF1(Leader in french TV marker).
2006/2007 : EXCELLENCE IS BACK ...
